Tokyo Milongaは７月に開催する『パリ「Sacre Milonga」奈知哲氏によるライブＤＪミロンガ日本ツアー』をもちましてすべての活動を終え、解散することになりました。それにともない、２００９年１２月に開設した当サイトも、日本ツアーの終了後に閉鎖します。これまで長らくご愛顧いただき、誠に有難うございました。今後は拠点を関西に移し、Tokyo Milongaの経験を踏まえて、「Tango West」として活動を発展させていきたいと考えております。Tango Westではミロンガやプラクティカの開催のほか、ホームページを通じて西日本のタンゴ情報を積極的に発信する予定です。引き続きご支援戴けましたら幸いです。今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いします。

年末年始に開催し、大きな反響を呼んだパリ「Sacre Milonga」奈知 哲（なち・あきら）氏によるライブＤＪミロンガ。彼の再来日に合わせて、好評のライブＤＪミロンガが２０１２年７月に復活します。奈知 哲氏が主催兼ＤＪを務めるパリのSacre Milongaは、フランスのミロンガ評価でも、音楽で４つ星半の最高評価を受けるなど、ミロンガ激戦区のパリでも屈指の人気を誇るミロンガです。
今回は内容をさらにパワーアップするとともに、素晴らしい選曲をより多くの人に楽しんでもらうため、東京だけでなく、大阪、名古屋の三大都市をツアーします。都市間の交流を後押しするため、お得な回数券「トラベルパス」を発行するほか、アフターミロンガとして地域のミロンガとも連携する予定です。また、このタイミングに合わせて、長らくご愛顧いただいたTokyo Milongaを解散するとともに、大阪で新しいタンゴ・プロジェクト「Tango West」を立ち上げる計画です。計４回におよぶ日本ツアーはTokyo MilongaとTango Westが共催します。皆さんのご参加をお待ちしております。

Popular Paris tango DJ Akira Nachi will tour Japan's three major cities Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in July 2012. Akira Nachi DJs at Sacre Milonga in Paris, which has received the top 4.5 star rating of all milongas in France. Almost 100 dancers attended his last milonga in Japan on a weekday evening. The dance floor was absolutely buzzing! We are planning to build on and extend this amazing experience with milongas in Japan's three main cities so that more people can enjoy Akira's sophisticated DJ-ing. We are offering a Travel Pass for those attending milongas in two or more cities to encourage people to dance in new locations. We also plan to coordinate our events with local milongas so you can carry on dancing! We look forward to seeing you.

年末年始の『パリ「Sacre Milonga」の奈知 哲氏によるライブＤＪミロンガ』を主催された四谷のアルゼンチン バー シンルンボが、２０１２年３月からスケジュールを大幅に見直し、ミロンガとしての特徴をより強く打ち出して運営されるそうです。
その柱のひとつが、毎週水曜日の「ＤＪミロンガ」。週毎にテーマを変え、選りすぐりのＤＪが選曲を担当します。Tokyo MilongaでレギュラーＤＪを務めたサニーさんとShino Bさんも、ＤＪの一員として加わります。３月最初の水曜日（７日）は「ミロンガで振り返るＴＡＮＧＯの歴史」をテーマにサニーさんが、１４日と２８日はShino Bさんが「ホワイトデーミロンガ」と「Tormenta primaver～春の嵐～」を掲げてＤＪを担当します。ＤＪタイムは１９時から２３時までの４時間、入場料は１０００円（飲食代は別途オーダー）です。二人の活躍を応援して戴けましたら有難いです。
ＤＪミロンガのほか、毎週金曜日は生演奏の「ライブミロンガ」を開くなど、盛りだくさんの内容です。詳細はシンルンボのホームページで是非ご確認下さい。
Tokyo Milongaが２０１１年９月末に幕を閉じ、３カ月が過ぎました。この間、参加してくれた方々から再開の要望を数多く戴きました。また、最近では複数のスタジオ関係者から「Tokyo Milongaを一緒に復活させませんか」という有難いお話も頂戴しております。Tokyo Milongaの存在が今も忘れられていないこと、そして多くのミロンガがある現状にもかかわらず、再開を求める声があることはとても幸せなことです。
約２年間の活動を振り返ると、「ミロンガはこうあってほしい」という自分なりの理想があり、どうしたらそこに近づけるかという挑戦の日々だったように思います。その原動力は現状に対する不満であり、それを少しでも変えたいという情熱でした。決して現状に満足したわけではありませんが、その思いが燃え尽きたことからTokyo Milongaの幕引きを決めました。
再開を望む声があることは嬉しい限りですが、この情熱なくして復活しても、惰性での継続は尻すぼみになるだけです。そして何よりも、これまで期待してくれた人たち、応援してくれた人たちを裏切ることにほかなりません。
以上のような理由から現時点では再開の目途はまったく立っておりません。そのうち再開するかもしれませんし、ずっとしないかもしれません。また、まったく別の活動を始める可能性もあるでしょう。寄せられた期待に添えないことは心苦しいことではありますが、今しばらく温かく見守って戴けましたら幸いです。今後ともどうぞ宜しくお願いします。
【下記のイベントは無事に終了しました。年始のお忙しい時期にも関わらず、本当に多くの皆さんにお越し戴き、誠に有難うございました。参加者数は１週間前（２０１１年１２月２８日）の初弾（９３人）を上回る９７人を記録、会場は終始、熱気に包まれました。来場者の内訳は男性４２人、女性５５人の計９７人（男性比率は４３・３％）。シンルンボさんにとって、イベントの来場者数で過去最高を連続で更新したそうです。お陰様で２０１２年も素晴らしいスタートを切ることができました。皆さんにとって幸多き１年になりますように！】
１２月２８日はパリ「Sacre Milonga」の奈知 哲（なち・あきら）氏によるライブＤＪミロンガにご参加戴き、有難うございました。お陰様で１００人近い皆さんと一緒に、彼の素晴しい選曲を楽しむことができました。多くの皆さんのリクエストにお応えし、急きょ第２弾の開催が決まりましたのでお伝えします。開催日は年明け早々の１月４日。前回と同様に６時間にわたるロング・バーションで、素敵な選曲と暖かみのあるバーの雰囲気を満喫して下さい。

すでにお知らせしました通り、９月末を持ってTokyo Milongaは終了します。そんな今、改めてTokyo Milongaとして目指していたミロンガについて、少し記してみたいと思います。
ご存じの通り、東京には数多くのミロンガが存在します。多い日には１晩に１０数ヶ所で多様なミロンガが開催されることもあります。それぞれに特徴があり、同じミロンガは一つもありません。参加者は立地や一緒に行く人、その日の気分などに応じて自分にとって最適なミロンガを選べます。一方で、自分自身が一参加者として少なからず感じていたのは、習っている先生や踊りのスタイル、年齢、タンゴダンスの経験年数などによるミロンガ間の”分断”でした。棲み分けといってもいいかもしれません。
同じようなタイプの人が集まることによるメリットはたくさんあります。しかし、Tokyo Milongaでは、その分断を少しでも繋ぎ、クロス・ボーダーなミロンガを目指したいと思ってスタートしました。誰に習っているか、習っていたかに関係なく、踊りのスタイルを問わず、初心者からベテランまで老若男女がバランスよく揃い、誰もが自分なりの居場所を見つけて楽しめるような場を提供したい、と常々考えてきました。また、主催者やスタッフはなるべく裏方に徹し、主役はあくまでも参加者という考えを徹底してきました。
セクハラや怪我をすることは論外ですが、これまで参加者の対象を絞らず、なるべく規則を設けないで開催するように心がけました。最初に掲載したミロンガのコンセプトにも「誰もが楽しめる空間に」と明記しました。そのため、実際にミロンガに参加し、雑然とした印象を持たれた方も少なくないと思います。しかし、同時に”雑木林”ならではの発見や活気みたいなものを少しでも感じてもらえたならば、主催者としてそれに勝る喜びはありません。
残り５回となったTokyo Milonga。改めて「誰もが楽しめる空間に」という原点を再確認し、さまざまな境界を越えるミロンガに、皆さんとともに一歩でも近づけたらと思っています。
What Tokyo Milonga Tried to Achieve
Tokyo Milonga is closing down at the end of September. We’d like to share with you some of our thoughts about the kind of milonga that we were trying to achieve.
As you know there are many milongas held in Tokyo. Some nights there will be more than 10 milongas held all over town. Every milonga is different and has its own character. People choose milongas because of the location, the friends they are going with, and how they feel on the night. As a dancer and milonga “consumer” I’ve always been aware of how milongas differentiate themselves by the teacher and dance style (for studio-run milongas), and the age group and experience of the dancers who attend.
There are advantages to a similar group of dancers attending a milonga, but Tokyo Milonga started out with the goal of being a borderless milonga that brought the disparate groups who would normally attend different events together. We wanted to attract a diverse group of dancers regardless of who their teachers were (or whether they go to class at all), the style of dancing, age, gender and experience. We wanted to provide a friendly milonga where everyone could feel at home. The organizer and staff worked behind the scenes and made sure the stars of the night were the dancers.
We minimized rules and restrictions other than the obvious, such as a tough stance on sexual harassment and preventing accidents on the dance floor. We did not want to be selective about who could attend and made it clear from the beginning that our concept was to provide a place where everyone can enjoy themselves. Thus some people may have felt that our milongas are somewhat chaotic. However, as the organizer I would be delighted if anyone made new discoveries and felt the energy of a diverse group of dancers.
With only five more milongas to go, Tokyo Milonga will reaffirm its basic concept of providing a place where everyone can have fun and the team will do our best to make our milongas as borderless as possible in every sense of the word.
Tokyo Milongaはライブな選曲にこだわったＤＪ体制に移行します。ＤＪは時々刻々と変化するフロアの状況、参加者の踊りや表情などを感じながら、リアルタイムに最適なタンダや曲を選びます。従来はミロンガ前に３時間分の楽曲をすべて用意し、そのまま流すこともありましたが、今後はライブな選曲にこだわることで、さらに楽しいミロンガを目指します。
ＤＪは基本的にＤＪブースに身を置き、会場のエネルギーを感じながら選曲します。事前に当日の雰囲気を予想するプリセットな選曲に比べて、臨機応変に曲を選べるため、よりミロンガに合った選曲を提供できます。また、ＤＪがフロア全体を見守ることで、フロアの流れが改善したり、マナーの向上なども期待できます。残り５回となったTokyo Milongaを、最後まで余すことなく楽しんで戴けましたら幸いです。
Live DJ-ing Policy for the Last Five Tokyo Milongas
Tokyo Milonga has changed its DJ policy and will switch to live DJ-ing. Our DJs will select the best songs and tandas on the fly, observing the constantly changing condition of the dance floor and the movement and facial expressions of the dancers. At many of our previous milongas, the DJ preselected the three-hour playlist and played it on the night. We are going to focus on live DJ-ing to make our milongas even better for dancers.
The DJ on the night will be stationed at the DJ booth and select songs in response to the energy that he or she feels from the dance floor. This allows the DJ to select songs best suited to the milonga as it unfolds rather than playing a preselected tanda list created by imagining what the atmosphere is going to be like on the night. We also believe that the DJ overseeing the floor will have the effect of improving the flow of movement and dance etiquette. We hope you will all enjoy the last five Tokyo Milongas.
２０１０年１月にスタートし、これまでに計５０回の開催を重ねてきたTokyo Milongaですが、９月２８日の開催をもちまして終了することにしました。皆さんには２年弱にわたってご愛顧いただき、本当に有難うございました。心より御礼申し上げます。８月１２日（金）、２５日（木）、９月１日（木）、１６日（金）、２８日（水）の計５回は当初の予定通りに開催します。残り５回についても、いつもの雰囲気で皆さんと楽しいひと時を過ごせれば、と思います。どうぞ宜しくお願いします。
Last Five Tokyo Milongas
Having marked a milestone 50 milongas since starting up in January 2010, we’ve decided it’s time to move on. The last five Tokyo Milongas will be on August 12 (Fri), August 25 (Thu), September 1 (Thu), September 16 (Fri), and September 28 (Wed). We thank you for your generous support in the past two years. We will do our best to ensure that you enjoy the last few Tokyo Milongas in the usual relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you.
暑さが厳しくなる中、国を挙げた節電の取り組みが本格化します。Tokyo Milongaでメーン会場として使っている中目黒ＧＴプラザホールの施設管理者に問い合わせたところ、「施設の休止期間などは設けず、すでに予約している時間帯は使用できます」との回答を得ました。ただし、照明や空調を通常よりも控え、節電に協力するとのことです。Tokyo Milongaは７月が３回、８月が２回、９月が３回の開催を計画しており、現在までのところ、すべて予定通り開催する方向です。照明を通常よりも控えるなど節電に積極的に協力していきたいと考えています。また、空調は６月と同様に施設管理者側からの要請で２６度と高めの設定となるため、ミロンガにはぜひ軽装にてお出かけ下さい。どうぞ宜しくお願いします。
The nationwide effort to reduce power consumption takes as temperatures begin to rise this summer. The management of Nakameguro GT Hall informed us that they had no plans to close temporarily, and the hall would be available at the times that we have booked it. However, the facility will cooperate with the power saving initiative by reducing the use of lighting and air-conditioning. Thus our milongas will go ahead as planned. We have three milongas scheduled in July, two in August, and three in September. We intend to cooperate as much as possible with efforts to reduce power consumption. Since the facility’s management requires that the air-conditioner temperature is set at 26C, please wear lightweight summer clothing to our milongas.
６月１６日（木）のTokyo Milongaは、プロのカメラマンによる撮影サービスを初めて導入します。ミロンガの中盤に１時間ほどかけて、会場の雰囲気や踊っている参加者をカメラマンが撮影して回ります。写真はパスワード設定が可能な写真共有サービス「30days Album（サーティーデイズアルバム）」を利用し、当日のミロンガに参加した人だけが閲覧できる仕組みを採用、一般の人など非参加者は見られないようにセキュリティーに配慮します。写真は携帯電話からもパスワードを入力すれば閲覧できます。
導入する目的は、当日に参加されなかった人たちにミロンガを知ってもらうことではなく、参加してくれた皆さんに対するサービスの充実にあります。一般に公開する開催レポートは従来と同様に会場全体の写真のみを使い、特定の個人に焦点を当てた写真はパスワードを設定する写真共有サービスで公開します。また、写真共有サービスも含めて撮影を希望されない方は、ご遠慮なくカメラマンまでお申し出下さい。
写真を見る方法はウェブ上のみとなります。ミロンガの受付時にパスワードを記した紙を配布しますので、写真の閲覧を希望する方は必ず会場でお受け取り下さい。ミロンガ終了後は、パスワードについてのお問い合わせには一切お答えできませんのでご注意下さい。ご自宅などで指定のＵＲＬを開き、パスワード（合い言葉）を入力することで当日のすべての写真をご覧戴けます。ミロンガ終了後２４時間以内をめどに写真の公開作業を終える計画です。新サービスが好評であれば、今後も定期的な導入を検討します。Tokyo Milongaは、開催レポートとともに新サービスを通じて、終わった後も思い出を共有できるミロンガづくりに取り組みます。

NEW! We are offering the services of a professional photographer
At our 16 June milonga we are offering the services of a professional photographer for the first time. The photographer will take photos of the venue and dancers in the middle hour of the milonga. The photos can be viewed only by those who attended the milonga using the password-protected photo sharing service 30days Album. We will make sure the album is secure and cannot be accessed by the public. Photos can be viewed by mobile phone as well using the password.
The purpose of the service is not to inform people who did not attend the milonga about the event, but to add value to the service we offer to those who did attend. Milonga reports on the website that can be viewed by anyone feature general shots only; photos that focus on specific individuals can be viewed on the password-protected photo sharing site only. Feel free to inform the photographer if you do not wish to be photographed.
The photos can only be viewed online. A piece of paper with the password on it will be distributed at reception. Make sure you take one if you want to view the photos ? we cannot respond to inquiries about the password after the event. Go to the specified URL and enter the password to view the photos. We plan to put the photos online within 24 hours of the end of the milonga. We will consider repeating the service on a regular basis if it is well received. By adding new services, Tokyo Milonga is committed to producing milongas that we can share memories of after the event.
